You helped us Run for Love, now will you help us Run for Hope? If you are a runner, a triathlete, a biker....whatever you love to do...why not do it to help others in need??? You can be a part of our team by wearing the gear and helping raise support for Hope House!
Mike and I are unable to be in the States for a significant amount of time. Our home, our work, our ministry is here in the Dominican Republic. But you can be our ambassadors. You can be our voice. You can help spread the word about the amazing things God is doing through Hope House. Maybe you just need the motivation. Maybe you've been looking for an opportunity to help but haven't known how. Maybe God is really expanding your knowledge of his love for hurting children around the world. Whatever it may be, this is an amazing opportunity to help make others aware of the needs we see everyday.
God has given you the ability to run, bike, or swim. He's also given you the ability to work through God's people. You have different contacts, friends, co-workers, and family members than Mike and I do. That we would never have the opportunity to know if it weren't for you stepping out in faith on our behalf. Now's the time. Will you Run for Hope?

"I have been running for about 5 months now. Recently, I decided that I would like to try a half marathon....I know...I must have been delirious that day. Amy was talking to her mom and found out my sister-in-law was running in a 1/2 marathon in Nashville on April 30th. I spoke with her and she asked me to run this 1/2 marathon with her and also asked if I would run in their honor and raise money for the work they are doing. I agreed. I then had a panic attack after agreeing when I saw it was only 11 weeks away...but the panic attacks are getting further and further apart now...They are doing such amazing work in the DR and since I can't be there to help them as I'd like to, this is a small way, I, and all of you can help out." -Bob Bickett

The bible says that true religion is caring for the widow and orphan, and we know that Hope House is going to care for, love, and provide a family for many orphans in Santiago. These children will not only have an earthly mother and father who love them, but will know the love of their Heavenly Father through the work of the Braisteds.
